Do The Work
I have been very absent in blog land of late. I have continued to write but I haven’t published anything or really shared any creative work in a while. And I have missed it.
Continue what I Started
I want to write. And I do. But I mostly write drafts, for myself. But that is not a completed project in my book. To me completed means to write, then edit, re-edit and add images. It means publish and share. It means do the work. It means finish what you started.
It is simple to scribble ideas down into a notebook. But to turn that into a finished blog or song or anything (enter your goal) is where the work begins.
I know I am stating the obvious, but things aren’t finished until they are finished right?! And finishing is where the graft comes in.
Personally, I feel my writing projects are completed once they are accessible to people. I write because I want to inspire people, including myself, and the words can’t do that sat in my notebook on my shelf. For you a completed project may well have a different end goal, but in the end, it isn’t finished ‘till it’s finished!
So, let’s be finishers!
Back to Business
I am thrilled to be back. And of course a bit scared…. Will I always have ideas? Will they be worth sharing? Well maybe, maybe not. But as I’ve said before, it is the doing that counts. We get better when we practice. After all, isn’t working on our growth a great thing?
And I am ready to get back grafting.
See you again very soon…
